Observation for Treatment of the Acromioclavicular Dislocation


Abstract
It has been known that there are many orthopedic procedure for treatment of acromioclavicular injury. The choice of treatment, however, for each injuries are as yet controversal among the sergeon.
From Sept. 1967 to 1969 thirty-two patients were treated in the department of orthopedic surgery,
Kwang-ju Triservice Hospital R. O. K. Armed-Force.
Twenty patients were treated conservatively and twelve patients, surgically. Of the three patients treated by arthrotomy and internal fixation with Kirschner¢¥s wire, one patient was treated by exision of the lateral end of the clavicle.
The author presented here eight patients of acromioclavicular dislocation, which were treated by transference of the coracoacromial ligament.
By the transference of the coracoacromial ligament to make a coracoclavicular ligament.
